Can't connect Sky Q to my eir broadband

I have Sky Q and Eir broadband. Got the message on screen that it looks like I do not have internet connection. So when I try to connect to wi-fi from another broadband provider and put in my internet password it says Unsuccessful connection. Please check your password is correct. It's definitely the correct password I'm putting in. There's no issue with my broadband. I'm connected fine on other devices. It's just Sky tv that I can't connect to.

Any fix for this yet? Just replaced my Eir broadband with Eir Fibre and now Sky Q won't connect back to the broadband.

had to use a plug in wifi extender with an ethernet port. connected the extender to the wifi and plugged it in close to sky box, ran an ethernet cable from the extender to the sky box, issue sorted.

I unplugged the sky and my router. Left everything off for a few minutes and when I turned it all back on it was working fine.

Hey, thanks for the advice. That worked. I turned the sky box off for the night and turned the router off for a minute before I turned sky box back on. All connected fine now. Thanks a lot.
