Can't change volume on sky remote control

I can't change volume on sky remote control since I've fitted a sound bar. I know there's probably an easy way to fix this, so can anyone help please?

Need more detail... (Make/models, how connected etc.)

 

If the soundbar is connected via HDMI-ARC then changing the TV volume should change the soundbar if it supports this mode.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
