Can't access recordings on Minibox - screen just says Please Wait with buffering circle continuously

For the last couple of days we haven't been able to access Sky Q recordings from the MiniBox - only from the main box. The recordings screen just says Please Wait continuously and displays the buffering circle symbol. How do I fix this please?

hi @rgm 

 

May I suggest you try a full power down restart of both boxes

 

The first thing is to restart your main SKY Q box :

Use the remote to place it into standby mode
Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)
Wait at least 30s
Then re-apply the power & wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.

Once the main box is restarted do the same power down on the mini box.
