Can't Find UEFA TV on Amazon Prime via Sky Q

I have Prime Video which I can access either by using a fire stick or via the Prime Video app on Sky Q.

Some time ago I registered for UEFA TV, which is available as an app on Prime Video. I haven't needed to use it until recently, when I discovered that the ongoing UEFA U21 Championships can only be viewed on UEFA TV.

I've found I can access the UEFA TV app on Prime Video via the fire stick but can't find it anywhere on Prime Video when using the Sky Q app.

Anyone else have this problem and can come up with either an explanation or a solution?

Prime Video and UEFA.tv are both apps on the Firestick available from Amazon (not Amazon Prime). Both are also available on other devices.

Prime Video is an app also available on the SkyQ box.

UEFA.tv have not made their app available on SkyQ - and are unlikely too.

Hi @Steve+EA   I have been watching the England matches (good result today) on UEFA.TV cast from my iPad to my Sony TV. The pictures are really good and appear to be in HD.

Oddly, CBS Sports are showing these games and England are doing really well - yet UK tv broadcasters seems to be ignoring it all.

Thanks for your reply. I was under the impression that because Prime Video offered the UEFA TV app on the fire stick, it should therefore be available on the Prime Video app on Sky Q. Seems that Prime Video via Sky Q is a slightly less comprehensive version of what's available on the Amazon fire stick.

Why are UEFA TV unlikely to make their app available via Sky Q then? Seems like a common sense way of broadening their customer base to me. A conflict with the same UEFA content also available on other channels available via Sky Q maybe? Having said that, 'UEFA' and  'sense' don't often appear together in the same sentence.

UEFA TV is a third party app that just happens to be one of the many apps you can download on an Amazon Fire Stick.

If you access Prime Video via Sky or any other device you won't have access to unrelated third-party apps, as they're not actually part of Prime Video.
