Keep being asked for viewing card to be inserted. We don't have a viewing card. Can no longer access itv x, record etc

Is this a Sky Q box? That has to have a viewing card because you can only have it with an active subscription.

Why not? Have you swoped a faulty box at the doorstep and forgotten to take the card out of the old box?
