Discussion topic: Can i turn off wi fi

I have plugged my sky q box into an ethernet cable and connected to a tp link plug.

So technically I am hard wired to my router. Do I now actually need a wi fi connection?

If not how do i switch my wi fi off?

@carling41Yes you can turn it off so long as you don't have mini boxes or want to use the main box as a hot spot.

You need to go into the "engineer's menu" to turn WiFi off.

Scroll to settings but do not do anything.

Enter 001 and then press select (do not press select until this point)
