Sky TV
~ To remove part of your package or cancel it completely you’ll need to contact Sky giving the required notice of 31 days. Note: the latest T’s and C’s explicitly state you cannot cancel within the minimum term and the contract can only be cancelled if Sky agree to it. If they do agree you’ll end up paying off the rest of the discounted term.
Select ‘Need more help’ at the bottom of the following link which will lead to contact details.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave
(Make sure the flag in the bottom right corner is the correct one ie; UK or ROI).
UK customer ~ The link may include an email link and also a Message Us option (which is normally available between 9am and 7.30pm).
ROI customer ~ it’s only by calling Sky Ireland or writing in.

If you cancel correctly you should receive a confirmation email from Sky.

If returning a Sky Q mini box don’t forget to keep you proof of posting indefinitely when you return the box(es). Return packaging will be sent out towards the end of your notice period.

@SusanMorrison
To remove part of your Sky Q/+ TV package you need to give 31 days notice. Be aware if you have 'in contract' discounts you may not be able to remove them. Also make sure cancellation of a certain add-on doesn’t cancel another discount. You may be able to remove it from your My Sky account at
https://www.sky.com/mysky/tv/tv-packs
otherwise you can either call Sky or use the messaging service to cancel this
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv

If you are cancelling Sky Q multiscreen return packaging will be sent out near the end of your notice period for any mini boxes. Obtain proof of posting and keep it safe and indefinitely.

Re: Can i cancel my multi room box without phoning sky up

There is no option to remove Multi Room under My Sky anywhere, unless I am missing something. Only channel packs themselves. I;d like to remove Multi Room as I no longer need it as no TV in bedroom anymore.

@GothonaBrompton

Give Sky a call giving the appropriate 31 days notice if necessary. Sky will send packaging for the return of your mini box. Obtain a proof of posting receipt and keep it indefinitely.

Read the very thread you've posted on.  You cannot cancel/negotiate on a public forum.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

I think some people have just never used a forum and think they are writing to a customer service chat interface, probably partly down to how the forum UI here searches for your subject in a new post and suggests existing threads which the poster might interpret as a suggested topic rather than a whole exisitng conversation.
