Can a new Sky Customer Order Sky Q?
Is Sky Q available to order for a new customer? If so how do you go about trying to order it as every thing points to Stream or Glass.
My father in law currently has Freesat but misses the content only available on Sky and likes my Sky Q box. He would be interested in getting it installed but I can't find anyway of ordering it for a new customer even a phone number to talk to Sky!
We have discussed Sky Stream & Glass but being of the older generation prefers the idea of proper live TV that is not dependent on the internet which he can record and keep if he wants which is not the case with the stream devices.

Hi @Dorian49
Best to speak directly to Sky to see exactly what you want and see if you can negotiate a deal.
If you need to contact them you need to persevere by phone.
To contact Sky
Select Need more help
at the bottom of the following link and this will lead to a phone contact.
Ignore all automated messages and wait for an agent

Re: Can a new Sky Customer Order Sky Q?
Your father in law could call Sky.
If he already has a Sky Mobile or a Sky Talk landline call free by dialling 150, otherwise he can use:
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0818 number.
(The forum doesn’t allow us to type the numbers in full).
He'll find that similar to calling other large companies the start will be automated which may also try to send him to the forum. Be aware we’ve been informed the lines are busier than usual at the moment.
Sky customer since 2001
with: Sky Q | Sky Superfast Broadband | Sky Talk | Sky Mobile
