Can SkyQ output stereo audio from an Airplay source? Only seems to be surround output.
When I play music from my iPhone over Airplay and output to my receiver over optical S/PDIF it seems that the SkyQ box is mixing it into 5.0 (I get no output on my sub). I'd like it to output 2.0 and let me receiver play that as I choose (2.1). I definitely don't want output on the rear speakers.
Can this be controlled at all on the SkyQ box?

Hi @kevpatts Have you tried setting your Sky Q audio format to Normal (PCM).
Edit: sorry, I see you are looking for 2.1 DD.

Well I'm assuming this is labelled as "Normal" in the "Digital audio output optical" setting. Yes, tried, made no difference to what speakers were being used, still 5.0.

This turned out to be caused by a setting on my receiver. Put it in direct+sub mode and it works as expected.
