Can I use sky q live tv without an active subscription?
Hello, was looking at a sky q box on ebay for my new room. I've been told that an active sky tv is required for live tv (freeview) to use a sky q box. I'd rather buy a Sky Q box rather than a Sky+HD box because it would fit my set up better, so would be more ideal.

A Sky Q box belongs to Sky so has to be sent back to them when the account has been cancelled so whoever is selling them is actually selling stolen equipment so whatever you do I would suggest not purchasing that as there is a chance it will not work.
