I "upgraded" to Sky Q about a year ago, and I really wish I hadn't.
The UX is unbearable, and the remotes are borderline unusable. It's kinda cool that they have streaming apps included, but I can't deal with all the many, many downsides.
Are Sky HD subscriptions still available?

I don't think you can go back now @WernerHeisenberg but someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

You will either have to pay someone to change the LNB in your dish so it will work with Freesat or make sure you buy the 4K Freesat box which will work with your existing LNB.

SKY now only allow a very few reasons (mainly technical problems) for people to return to SKY HD and must be within an initial cooling off period.
Their policy is now to allow cancellation without penalty rather than reversion - but again only during the cooling off period, after that the minimum contract must be completed.
The only other time that SKY HD sub might possibly be an option is where a move to a property with a communal system that cannot be upgraded to Q but I think even that is less likely nowadays.

Note that if you took Sky Q "about a year ago", you make still be in some minimum 18 month contracts that you will need to pay off before you can leave Sky

Q has been the main Sky satellite product since 2016 (and the HD boxes ceased manufacturing in 2015) so it's not surprising that they no longer have Sky+ subscriptions for sale. Judging by the current promotional campaign for Sky Stream, Comcast have decided the days of Q itself are now numbered.
