Can I Cancel before anything is installed?

I am wondering if I can cancel my subscription - I paid a set up fee etc but so far no sky box, dish or anything has been installed and I've changed my mind - mainly because I didn't realise how tv worked and that I already had an Ariel in my loft. I'm not sure how to go about this or what would happen. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

@Lw5

To cancel your subscription you'll need to call Sky.
If you already have a Sky Mobile or a Sky Talk landline call free by dialling 150, otherwise you can use:
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0818 number.
(The forum doesn’t allow us to type the numbers in full).

You will find that similar to calling other large companies the start will be automated which may also try to send you back to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible.

Note: We were informed recently the lines were busier than usual so try to pick a quieter time.

Yes you can, and if the installer arrives before you've talked to Sky support you can simply tell them (politely) to go away.  Note that subscription payment does start from the point of placing the order, though, so you need to make sure that doesn't continue.
