My wife has been diagnosed with dementia and I have acquired a simple remote control to enable her to watch TV. However, when it is switched ON, the home page appears and it needs the Sky Q remote to press the back button for full screen. Is there any way to by-pass this button and straight to fuill screen? Thanks

Thank you all for your replies. We do have the Flipper remote which is excellent but lacks the back button. I have informed ALZ Products iof this design omission. They are aware and say they will incorporate it in future upgrades.
In essence folks, we have to lump it!! The only possible solution is to leave Sky Q box 'ON' 24/7 365 days a year which is not desirable.

Sadly I don't believe this is possible and with Sky Q the elder statesman of hardware available, is unlikely to ever change.
Best I could find was this thread which confirms my thoughts. Not sure what a "Flipper" is though? 🤣

Unfortunately options 2 and 3 appear to be erroneous.
