Bought Sky glass and kept SkyQ box

I'm pretty sure the Skyglass delivery/install guys said if I kept the old SkyQ box I could use it with another TV. The SkyQ box works with another TV in my house, but doesn't recognise my account/doesn't let me access subscription channels eg sports. Thoughts? Thx u

@CF68  if they said that they were wrong

You can't have sky glass and Q on the same account

the Q contract has been cancelled by virtue of your activation of sky glass

sky will be in contact about the return of the Q hardware (you don't get to keep it as it was only loaned to you)

Any such delivery people aren't Sky employees, and, unfortunately, were entirely incorrect.

As @SKY1992bf indicates, once Glass is activated (or at some point afterwards) the main Sky Q box receives an end-of-subscription message over its satellite feed, and ceases to function for live television, on-demand, apps and Recording playback.

They may have been confusing Sky Q with Sky+ HD: the latter will continue to work as a free to air satellite channel receiver (but without Recording or playback functionality)
