Booster box not showing as connected. 3 lights but only outer two are lit.

Have a Sky Q box and a mini box in separate room. Booster box in the middle plugged in and power on but the connected light not showing green.

Hi @Kongwa 

Try first rebooting the booster by disconnecting the power for 30 secs and then reconnecting.

Then try rebooting the main Q box.

To reboot the Q box,  press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

 

If the booster still does not connect first press the WPS button on the booster and then press the WPS button on the main Q box.

@Shanthi+Pragasam the Sky booster won't connect to your BT hub it needs to connect between your Q box and the mini box 


I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

I've followed all the instructions from the tv but nothing has changed the booster still only showing two lights

Can you give more background? What broadband provider and did it ever work?

Sky is my provider. The booster stopped working about 2 weeks ago. My Wi-Fi works on everything else but just not the tv with main sky box and the tv with mini box. I can still watch sky but can't use demand, catch up or any of the apps

I have the same issue. Booster stopped working about 2 months ago. Only the two out green lights are on.  Sky mini Q won't work

@Chandra Afraid you are not contacting Sky's customer services on here, this is a customer to customer forum where customers help each other.
