I've just switched my TV on ok. But when I switch sky on I get the following message on a blue screen "This screen does not support HDCP. Try reconnecting your HDMI cable or use a different screen". We have allways used the screen. Sky is working ok upstairs we have sky q installed with a mini box upstairs. Any help appreciated thank you

Hi @Carolanne3
Turn off the TV and then disconnect the HDMI lead and then refit it.

Re: Blue screen message reading. This screen does not support HDCP. Try reconnecting your HDMI cable
All sorted now. I switched it all off from the wall for 5 mins and now it appears to be fine. Thanks

Re: Blue screen message reading. This screen does not support HDCP. Try reconnecting your HDMI cable
I get this issue every time I switch on my Sky Q box - I do nothing but wait, the message clears and sound and vision are (seemingly) fine.
I'm unsure if it is a lag in the box and LG "shaking hands" or if the image I'm then getting is truly 4k.
I have always suspected that my non-Sky channels seem to be of lower image quality than Sky channels but not sure how to confirm.
Any suggestions as to how to confirm?

Re: Blue screen message reading. This screen does not support HDCP. Try reconnecting your HDMI cable
I tried disconnecting the hdmi cable, tried a different one, rebooted the system four times- nothing helped... Then I read to actually unplug the tv to ensure it's not in standby mode.
doing all of the above with the tv plug out, so it's not just asleep plus I took the viewing card out, dusted it and put it back. Finally, after three days - the Sky is back!
