Black screen on TV and only sound with Sky Q

this keeps on happening 

I have switch off all power etc and also also done a mild reset.

sometimes I get the picture back but I'm seeing again nothing on the screen and have only sound
I have no idea what is wrong but can't even get a menu for my tv

Have you also rebooted your Television set @Feliciy 

To reboot,  disconnect the power lead for 30 seconds and then reconnect.

Yes I've tried that too....but doing it again and not connecting it to the sky box
