Currently I have the Sky box HDMI plugged into the Amplifier's Cable HDMI port. The TV HDMI ARC is connected to the Amplifier's HDMI ARC. This seems to work fine and the Sky remote controls the sound on the Amp and turns on / off both the TV and Amplifier.
Question is: Should I plug the Sky Q to HDMI 1 (not thr ARC one)? Will this inprove the sound or will it compress it?

hi @Devdeep60
Plugging the SKY Q box into the TV & using the ARC connection will not improve the sound.
There shouldnt be any difference either way but going direct to the Amp is probably best - I have always advised this method for people with Lip Synch problems but these days there seems to be less of these
I route my SKY Q box and other devices via my Amp - the only reason I route a Firestick 4K via my TV is due to my amp not passing through HDR10+ as used by Prime

Will make no difference - in fact it may actually cause you lip-sync issues.
I found using ARC (on my LG) to send Q audio to the Amp caused noticeable synchronisation issues.
