BUFFERING on every streaming device including sky sports
Okay it's getting ridiculous now. Can't watch anything on sky sports + red button because that's basically just streaming using the sky sports app. Currently getting to watch the champions League final using the Discovery plus app, and it gives me a short buffering circle every minute or so. This is incredibly frustrating when I pay Sky a small fortune every month. Not good enough.
This happens on every single app that requires streaming. The sky q box was not made for streaming. Tell me there's an upgrade before I leave sky TV forever, having been a customer for over ten years...

I should point out I have very fast broadband and have zero issues with buffering on any other device. The problem is the sky q box.

Another thing; frequently the box, when I press HOME on the remote, will tell me I have no internet connection, or just simply not load the home page or TV guide. Settings says I'm fully connected. The homepage still won't load.

@kamjb who is your broadband provider and how are you connecting you Q box to the router ? wifi or ethernet
I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

It must be something to do with the internet connection between your Sky Q box & your router; I only have 27Mb at my router, connect via WiFi and never get buffering on any of the streaming apps

What could be the cause? There's a clear line of sight between the router and the box, but it's too far and awkward to install an ethernet cable.
Could it be an old box issue? It's right years old now.

Have you done a full network connection reset? If not, try the steps recommended in the following thread:
