I  am trying to get through to sky to check if a viewing card was indeed ordered for me as we are still waiting

You’re talking to fellow customers here not Sky Customer Services. This forum is where customers try to help other customers. Why are you requiring a new card?

Are you new to Sky and are awaiting your Sky Q box to be installed because if you are the installer will have a card with them.
