Auto start of next episode

I'm watching True Detective on Sky Atlantic HD. 

Around 10 minutes from the end of an episode the window pops up showing the next episode. 
This pop up is obviously appearing too soon. I've asked other people and they have the same issue and suggest it only happens on longer episodes. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

I am having the exactly same issue whilst watching The Sopranos. It's really annoying.

@Pambro @micum you can go into settings > setup > preferences and turn off auto play next episode which will stop this happening or if its wanting to download the next episode turn off download next episode

@Pambro I get that but if it's not working properly on longer episodes then it's a work around the other thing you can do is report it to viewer relations although if its software related ie down to the boxes doubt they can do anything if its down to metadata then possibly something they can pass on their e-mail address is viewerR@sky.uk

Hi thanks for your reply.  Turning off auto start doesnt fix the issue though. I dont want a workaround. 
I emailed sky with the details. They said it was likely to be how the sky team had loaded the episodes into the system. It seems to be working ok now.

Sometimes the times have been set wrong.

Have in the past when I had Sky Q, emailed the VR team to alert them and they were then corrected.

Same issue with The Walking Dead. Just got SKY Q installed and wasn't sure how next episodes work as had SKY HD for the past 15 years. Get a pop up about 15 minutes before the end of the episode and I have to clear it and it never auto plays the next one.

This started happening to me in last month or so.. actually when I started rewatching Sopranos!

 

It's really annoying as with 10/15 minutes left it'll appear!

 

Do we have a fix yet?
