@paul+v Only if you have the Atmos turned on for the Sky channels that can use it like Cinema and Sports.

hi @paul+v 

for live TV Only some Sports have Atmos - Football &  Cricket come to mind but many sports including F1 do not.

Atmos is only available on UHD downloads for entertainment & films & then not available on all UHD content

I can't remember which apps have Atmos (again I think only with UHD content) IIRC  Netflix on SKY Q doesn't

Edit: just checked and Netflix on Q does not have Atmos but Disney+ & Amazon Prime do - I can't check other apps as I don't have the relevant subs 

As @Anonymous says you do have to have Dolby Digital + set (although note DD+ is not specifically Atmos but Atmos needs it to work)

I thank you for your replying,l have basic sky Q,,l have prime,l have purchased movie,s from sky so am l able to listen to any content,in Dolby Atmos,via theses suppliers,my board band not great as my landlord will not allow me full fibre access.

Just to let you know Prime has very little content with Atmos sound, most of their UHD content has only 5.1 sound (the one I know has Atmos is Rings of Power)  - note for content from Prime itself (rather than purchases) you now need the ad free option for Atmos

Also I think SKY Store only lets you buy HD versions so won't have Atmos (although rentals can be UHD with Atmos)

Let us know if there is something you are expecting to have Atmos sound that you don't seem to get  it for
