Apps think I am outside the UK

Paramount+ app says "Your Region is not supported we detect you're in US.

Also when trying to launch Disney+ app it said it looks like you are travelling & content might be different.

There was a similar issue with a user whose ISP was routing through Spain.

A site like https://www.iplocation.net will show if this the case.

edit - you may find just turning your router off and back on after 60s will correct this as there is a chance when it re-establishes a connection you'll be allocated a UK IP address.

Which ISP? There are some using re-sold blocks of IP addresses which were originally allocated to other places and it confuses the (primitively designed) geo-lookup systems.

All except one report from iplocate.io said country was United Kingdom.

Rebooting router did not work so I powered down both router & my Openreach BT hub & this worked when it powered back up again.
