Apple Tv won’t connect

Trying to connect to apple tv but it keeps saying it can't connect, all other apps (like netflix) are working and i can play apple tv programs on my phone. Tried resetting everything and still having the same issue. Help!

According to the Apple System Status page, Apple TV has had an issue this evening, but it should now be resolved. May just be a case of waiting a bit longer for it to return to normal.

 

Having watched Pluribus myself on Q tonight, I don't think this is necessarily a Sky issue, but never say never.

Apple TV app not connecting

Our Apple TV app says it cannot connect to the internet. The internet connection is good, have reset the sky box but still not working.

APPLE TV APP

Apple TV has stopped working on my Sky Q box this morning , all other apps work fine and I can connect to Apple TV on other devices. Have done software update and reboot of box by taking power cable out. Any advice most welcome. thanks .

Same here. Have refreshed apps and checked sky Q software update. Still no good. 😡

Yes same here, tried resetting box and refreshing apps through the secret menu but no joy at all.

Its still not working.  Error message saying "check internet connection and try again ". I've done a reset of router again- still not working.

Just started watching the F1 movie to test mine, no issues here I'm afraid.

 

I would recommend power cycling your router or hub if doing so to the Q box hasn't done anything.

You highlight the settings menu then type 001 and select and you get a few options. I selected apps and refresh.

It's the installer menu to hard refresh apps, I doubt it will help you in this case, but if you want to try it, go to settings in the Q box menu so it is highlighted, then on your remote:


Press 0 0 1 then select

Select Apps 
then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box.
You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'. This will stay on screen until you press Dismiss to return to normal viewing
It’s recommended waiting at least 5 minutes before doing so.

Refresh Apps can take up to 24 hrs to complete .

Thanks  I'll give it a go later.  Losing the will here,  going to head over to netflix instead.
