I have a Sky Q Box connected to a broadband router from another provider via wireless and a couple of mini boxes connected with the aid of a Sky booster.
For the past 24 hours the Sky Q box has been disconnecting from my woireless network. Resetting the network connectionon the Sky Q box results in a functioning connection for a couple of minutes maximum before it disconnects again. I have rebooted my router and my Sky box with no difference. Everything else connected to the router has remained connected as normal and completely stable.
This happened on and off a couple of years ago but evertthing has been fine since. If I remember correctly the view then was that it was a software/firmware update on the Sky box that was responsible. I find myself wondering if this is the case again especially as there seems to be a number of others having the same issue at the moment.
