Amazon Prime Video app now vanished from my Sky Q box?

I have a full Amazon Prime account including Prime Video.  And a large Sky package - sports, cinema, boxsets, HD, multiroom etc.

I have previously watched Amazom Prime Video on Sky Q.

 

Today it said something like Can't pl;ay this app now, try later.

 

I reset the Sky Q box - pulled power plug out etc. and after reboot NO Prime Video app on the list!

 

Paramount+, Disney+, Netflix, Iplayer, ITVX etrc. ALL stuill work fine. 

 

So what's happebned?

Have Amazon pulled the app from Sky, or have Sky binned Prime video off?   Or are we just in the middle of an upfgraded Prime video app?

3/4/23 today.

Hi @Vully 

Have you tried refreshing the Apps in the Hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Select Apps 
then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box.
You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'. This will stay on screen until you press Dismiss to return to normal viewing
It’s recommended waiting at least 5 minutes before doing so.

Refresh Apps can take up to 24 hrs to complete .

Hi @Vully

A hidden menu ehh, that's why I hadn't found it!

 

I'll give it a go shortly and se if Prime Video returns in the morning.

OK, all seems fine now.  I had to re-activate Prime Video on the aky Q box but it works now - app is back and works!

 

The reset apps banner remained on screen for maybe 10 minutes and went off on it's own, and voila! there was the app back.

No idea why it ceased working, then vanished when I reset the Sky Q box .... maybe it needed an updated app? or had become corrupted?

Didn't work for me. But I unplugged the sky box for 60 seconds and that fixed the problem. 😊
