Am trying to set up new Sky q mini box but it will not stay connected. Checked Broadband which is BT
Trying to set up new SkyQ mini box and it will not stay connected to the main sky Q box or to our broadband router. Have checked the broadband and this is with BT. They have checked the speed. They have also changed the router settings to compatibility and channel 44, which they say is the one that Sky recommends for best connectivity. I've booked an engineer visit for the 8th of January. However I've been trying to phone Sky to see if I can get a sky. Q booster sent out as it seems to be a signal issue dropping out between the main sky Q box and the sky mini box. Can anyone advise thank you.

Q uses ch 36, but if the channel width is 80MHz then this will conflict with channel 44. (As will cover 36 to 48)
It needs to be at least ch 52 or the Q channel width reduced to 40MHz (but may cause bandwidth issues).
