After fixing NO SIGNAL issue yesterday, now can only access BBC 1.

Think SkyQ controller not working.  Have changed batteries, but still no response apart from sound control working.  Cannot change channels or access Apps. How do I get a new remote control?

After checking the basics, ie; fresh batteries, re-pairing etc if your Sky Q remote is definitely broken/faulty, if you follow this link it should allow you to do some more troubleshooting and then it’ll send you to a form to request a replacement (there is the possibility this is not available to customers in the ROI).

In the meantime it may be quicker to purchase a new remote from a retailer / larger supermarket. If you do that as well as the above you’ll have a spare.

Hi @AshBTW

First try rebooting your Q box?

To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Then reset your remote control

With the Q box on with green led press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.

Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

@oldfella

Thank you so much. All sorted.  Had to go through several stages to get the signal back yesterday but at no point was there info on re pairing remote controller. Think it wrong that sky customers/users should have to act as Sky Customer Service Department, but thanks again.
