This is an old thread. This is not about the free access to Hayu that will be available soon (in July)

I've a current Amazon subscription which has been cancelled as Hayu will be coming to Sky.

I've had the same issues as everyone above, but have resolved it doing the following.

The hayu.com/pair redirects to the login page. When it did this i carried out the following:

1. I created a login on the Hayu web site and selected I have an existing subscription.

2. It takes me to my amazon login to give it access to the account to check the subscription. I assume you could do this even without an amazon account.

3. I cancelled at this point so it didn't have access but took me to my Hayu account.

4. I then selected PAir TV Apps from the side menu.

5. I entered the pair number from the Hayu App in the Sky Apps.

6. It said it was successfully paired on the website.

7. The TV showed changed from pair to saying it was waiting on completing the process on the website and had a home button showing on the tv.

8. I just selected the OK button on the handset and it went into the Hayu app.

 

On the Sky App though you have to select 7 day trial and then its £5.99 a month. Don't know if you would be charged that or not, I'll wait until after the Amazon subscription expires to try it, but could be you have to pay it until the service is fully available in July or I guess speak to Sky to see if you will be actually charged to your account.

 

Don't know if that actually helps anyone but thought i would post it anyway just in case.
