AV Out on the bakc of the Sky Q Mini Box.

On the back of the Sky Q Mini boxes, there is a little port labelled "AV". It is a 3.5 mm auxiliary jack. I have an auxiliary to AV (Red, White, Yellow), but when I use the port it does not show a picture. I can hear the quiet sound of the video playing on the box, accompanied with a low buzzing. I turned the settings down to 576p with HDMI, but this does not change anything. I also have unplugged the HDMI  whilst the AV was connected to the TV. Any suggestions on how to get it working?

The cable known to work is the Nokia CA-75U, available on eBay for a few pounds.

Other apparently similar cables don't have the correct ring spacing on the mini-jack.

You could also try swapping your existing plugs over just in case they are wired accordingly.

I have a 3 way lead that doesn't work and one that does work but only by interchanging one of the audio &  Video plugs over (i.e. the yellow provides one of the audio channels and one of the red or white - I can't remember  which - provides video

As @TimmyBGood says we know the Nokia lead is wired suitably for the minis
