3 months free Sky Ultra HD

Hi All,

I have received an email from Sky to sign up for Sky Ultra HD. It is for three months free and then £4 a month.

When I click on the link, it takes me to my account and then states that there is nothing in my basket.

Anyone else experienced this?

I wouldn't mind taking up this offer but for some reason I can't see select it anywhere.

Hi There,

I had a email offer from Sky stating i could receive three months free UHD.  I have clicked on link in the email several times over the last two weeks and it takes you to your account having signed in, but there is no obvious way to get this offer?. I have a skyQ box.

Can anyone advise

Unfortunately at this time we do not know why you cannot see the offer but it seems you will need to call as the escalation team that support customers here cannot deal with this aspect of accounts.

I phoned sky today and have an answer.

You need to have a Sky Ultra HD box which is an extra £99.

I only have the 1TB Sky box.

Its a generic email that has been sent out regardless on what box you have.

I was just curious to how much difference there was to normal HD but don't think its worth the £99 gamble to find out!

IMHO marginal - only worth it if you have Sports and Movies subscriptions as well.  There's precious little elsewhere...

But most headline series are in UHD such as Last of Us.

It would have have been mainly for sports especially the F1.

The offer ended today anyway.
