2nd sky q remote not working. Not sure if its set up to work this tv brand.

When I got Sky q I wanted a second mini box for the upstairs TV. As I hadn't yet got the tv up & running,  the engineer set up the box for the new tv brand,  & said he hoped it would work. (Apparently the remotes don't work on any tv, only the one it's set up for! ) This one doesn't work & I don't have any instructions as to how to fix it.

Can anyone help, please, without getting too technical?

Hi @Happyeyes

With the mini box on with green led try completly resetting your mini Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the mini box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Yeah the reason they don't work on just any TV is that all the TV manufacturers use different infra-red codes. There is no standard.
