1 channel not working. Channel 319 (Great Christmas)
The above channel stops working as soon as it becomes Great Christmas but as soon as it's back to Great Movies it starts working again. This satellite issue only affects it for Christmas. Happened last year as well.
I have an engineer booked to call out but it's a waste of his time, if it can be sorted remotely but I can't seem to get to speak to a person.

The screen is black with a message on the top about problem with satellite signal. And it's only on this channel and only when it becomes Great Christmas. It will be back working after Christmas

Are you in UK or Ireland? If UK, do you have problems with the other Great channels like Great Action? If Ireland, does NHK World (507) work?
The change from Great Movies to Great Christmas is purely cosmetic, there are no technical or transmission changes, so that alone shouldn't cause a no signal message.

If it’s a “no satellite signal” message check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight. Otherwise it’s very likely a dish misalignment or possibly a failing LNB (on the arm of the dish) so check the troubleshooting on this link

It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish. If it doesn’t you’ll need to contact Sky to book an engineer appointment.
If you are connected to a communal dish you need to liaise directly with your building management company / landlord who will have their approved engineers to contact.
It’s worth noting that:
▪️ a misalignment is not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels (amongst the first to be affected may be TNT or GB News).
▪️ a Sky Q box requires a periodic 'Keep alive' signal that is delivered via the satellite so if that isn’t received the box will close down until the satellite signal is restored.
▪️following adverse weather wait times for an engineer will probably be significantly longer

I'm in Ireland and yes 507 has the same no satellite signal message.

You need an engineer then. It can't be fixed remotely.
