Video doorbell hasn't charged after 24 hrs

Hi plugged my video doorbell bell in to charge and its dead

If the doorbell runs out of battery completely after seeing the final set of low charging messages, leave it on charge for a good many hours, even overnight.

It seems dead when it's down to a few per cent charge.

Makes sure you charge it with the supplied charging cable plugged into the Chime.

I charged my doorbell for 24 hours and it's now showing as 7% battery. At this rate I would have to leave it on charge for a full fortnight to get back to 100%. What gives?!

Turn the doorbell off, using the switch at the rear and leave off for at least 10 minutes.

Turn back on and start charging again.

A full charge should only take 6-8 hours.
