Video doorbell froz n with a pink light

Hi, i have tried to set up my new video doorbell but it just seems to have frozen with a pink/purple light permanently on.

i can't reset it and if i try and reinstall it that same happens.

anyone know what i can do?

Not sure if this is what you are referring to, but a fixed pink hue on a surveillance camera image  is usually caused by a stuck IR cut filter: this is an electro-mechanical component and can be prone to failure.

 

I'd suggest requesting replacement hardware.
