Smart tech is not worth the free option for taking out the insurance
For someone who has been with Sky for over 10 years, I should've known better
No, Sky product works properly in the first 18 months to 24 months. The old Sky on the man connectors for the Sky+ HD boxes had Wi-Fi connectivity issues. Sky Q when that was launched it to 24 months for Wi-Fi connectivity shoes to be sorted out for the mini boxes. Sky glass has been going for over 18 months now and they're still daily issues with sky glass, I was a fool to start this new product early and taking this market. It's not worth the packaging. The camera will not connect. I'm constantly getting Tampa warnings your cameras been removed warnings it will not connect. It takes over 2 to 3 minutes to Bradford to get a live feed my broadband I'm on superfast broadband with over 80 Mb per second speeds and my cam is eight paces from my broadband hub. The support is non-existent. I cannot find the live chat in the app. All I get is a phone number and an email address. You phone the phone number and they tell you to email them and then you wait for a response I've had a second doorbell camera sent out to me which is just as bad as the first one. I am constantly rebooting it to the point where it tells me an automatic reboot is not available anymore. You have to manually reboot it I turn everything off turn it all back on again re-sync the chime and the doorbell and now today every single product is off-line as shown in the picture I give up. I will run the insurance, but the kid is going in a box in the bin.

Re: Smart tech is not worth the free option for taking out the insurance
I am also having huge issues with the doorbell and indoor camera - I haven't bothered with any of the other items. The support "get help" take you to a page where you can learn to change your username and password on some random site and the response here is to use the chat on the app - There is no chat, no help and no email or telephone to get through to anyone. I know that a firmware update when the cameral is next to the chime, the wifi router and the mobile with the app on should not take the hours it is professing to.
All my boxes were previously opened and resealed so I;ve obviously got someone else's duff rejects which I would love to tell someone about if only I could...
