Sky video doorbell
Hi we have had the video doorbell for about a week, we took it off to recharge it but now we cannot get it to pair again, it just keeps saying something has gone wrong.

I too have the same error after attempting to pair the camera. I called the sky protect number but they said "there is no one available to deal with your technical issue"
I now have to email in. Good job sky.

The chat should be available during weekdays. It mght not have been at the weekend.

It's not fit for purpose worst tech bundle ever for the price of £250 for that price I could have got insurance elsewhere and cameras with out the hassle and I wish I had now, absolutely appalling!

It's not great. The insurance product is fine. The door sensors, environmental sensor and indoor cam is fine.
The doorbell and chime is pretty shonkly. I'm on chime and doorbell number two and the two still won't sync.
Seriously considering abandoning the door cam and chime and replacing with with a nest doorbell and camera.

My latest email with support, and to be fair they did a good job. This is my advice to them:
Power cycling the door camera after the firmware update and power cycling the chime resolved this. The new charm is being sent back along with my old camera. I don’t envy working on your support team.

For clarity, could you list the firmware versions you have for the chime and doorbell, under Home>settings cog>devices.
Plus for the indoor camera also, it's listed under a diagnostics section.
Will compare.

Anyone managed to get the Sky Protect app running on their M1/M2/M3 apple silicone Mac?
Would be helpful for me as I work from home. And does anyone know if they have an Android or IOS app that is optimised for the tablet form factor. Technically, if it runs on an iOS phones or tablets it should run on Apple silicon Macs.
Or even a web app compatible with all form factors....a boy can dream!

Delete it from your app.
Power cycle your indoor cam.
Wait five - ten minutes.
Power cycle your charm.
Switch off your door bell using the little switch.
Bring the doorbell and chime close together.
Using the app follow the on-screen instructions.
Lemme know what happens.
