Sky protect products

Hi

 

I'm have sky protect but was wondering when my  policy ends can you still use the doorbell etc if I go elsewhere for my insurance or do the doorbell etc become useless?

It is useless after cancelling your sky protect insurance. No record or history on cameras.

Yes, it becomes restricted as it lays out in the Sky Home insurance details and in the Sky Protect help article;

 

Cancelling after the first 31 days, or choosing not to renew? You can keep the tech but will lose certain features that come with your Smart Home Insurance policy, including:

  • Securely storing videos for up to 30 days.
  • Downloading and sharing videos.
  • Security scheduling.
  • Auto arming.
  • Live chat help.
  • Incident escalation.
  • Alerts to your phone from the Video Doorbell when someone is at your door.
  • Emergency contact in case anything goes wrong and you're unavailable.
  • Alerts to your phone from the Indoor Camera when movement or sound is detected.

You'll also miss out on the extended 24-month warranty on your Sky Protect Smart Tech bundle. If you cancel your policy, the warranty will end.
