My Sky Protect doorbell is not charging. It has been on charge for 4 days and the orange charging light on the bell is still constant. When I check it on the Protect app it still shows that it hasn’t charged. I have tried charging the bell using the correct procedure stated. (Using the USB on the chime unit).
This is the second bell I have received from you regarding this charging issue. It appears to me that these bells have an inerrant fault with them

Remove the doorbell from charging, so remove the usb cable.
Next to the usb slot under the flap is a switch, turn it off.
Leave the doorbell off for at least ten minutes.
Switch the doorbell back on and charge using the usb cable to the chime.
A charge of about 6-8 hours is all that is needed if its low or a charge ovenight.

When the doorbell is charging it won't update the battery level in the Sky Protect app. You'd have to disconnect the charger and then allow the doorbell to reconnect to the chime to get an accurate battery level.
