Does sky protect camera stop recording if phone has no signal and app cannot be accessed

As above the doorbell camera connects to the Chime, which itself connects via the ethernet cable to a router.
If your broadband hub/router is up, the route above will pass the recordings through your broadband hub/router to the Sky Protect cloud , where you can retrieve and view your recordings via phones/tablets within the Sky Protect app.
For the indoor camera, that connects via wifi to your broadband hub/router will as above pass the recordings through your router/hub to the Sky Protect cloud , where you can retrieve and view your recordings via phones/tablets within the Sky Protect app.
Sky Stream with two pucks (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).

@Les-st The video doorbell does not stop recording because of the lack of a signal to your phone. The recordings are uploaded to the cloud for 30 days.
