Depending on what OS level your phone has, the Sky Protect app requires the following;

If its Android, it needs to be on Android 9 and higher.

If it's an Apple phone, it needs to be on iOS 15 or higher.

Plus, Huawei mobile devices are not currently supported.

Huawei does not have access to Google Play services because the company is under sanction by the US government, and consequently phones using EMUI won't run many apps available on other Android platforms.

More specifically, apps which rely on using Google Mobile Services APIs will not function on EMUI.  GMS is not covered by the Android Open Source Project and requires a licence from Google, who cannot grant that to Huawei while the Chinese company is sanctioned.
