Just installed all my kit today and agree it's an absolute load of junk hidden behind fancy packaging and glossy advertising. I'm a techie guy and really struggled to get everything working.

Think the lot will be going in the bin, it's garbage.

Re: Sky Protect security equipment NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

Just to add, it really is a bag of **bleep**e. The doorbell has no volume to it at all so cannot be heard anywhere but stood in the hallway next to it (at it's maximum volume), it has rubbish battery life - typically lasting about 10 days before needing a full day's recharge, more often than not does not ring at all when pressed. The motion sensor has now started alerting all day even with push notifications turned off and the system not armed. I've had to delete and reconnect different devices half a dozen times in the 2 months I've had them. What a waste of platsic, minrerals and my time. Has really dented my view of Sky tbh.

I'm also having issues with the sky doorbell, the doorbell/chime/hub thing is maddening.

However, once I got a longer ethernet cable, the signal between the two were fine. I have a brilliant video of the outside, highly detailed. The only thing annoying me too,is the constant ding dongs  as I nip in and out myself. It hasn't got facial recognition ability so I can rule myself out in the motion mode.

Re: Sky Protect security equipment NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

Thanks for your post, I've ordered a. Repeater wifi booster with ethernet.

Fingers crossed it'll get rid of the15 meter cable I'm having to use ATM.
