Sky Protect devices constantly losing connection

Other than my doorbell and camera all my other devices seem to constantly go offline.

Reset them all yesterday and wake up this morning to yet again see them offline.

The leak sensors, motion sensor and contact sensors all connect to the sensor bridge on the back of the indoor camera.

If the Sensor Bridge is showing a solid blue light, it is online and ready to connect to a Leak Sensor. If it is yellow, you may need to ‘reboot’ it. Reboot the Sensor Bridge by disconnecting it from the Indoor Camera and plugging it back in after one minute.

The sensors should work at quite a distance from the sensor bridge, but if they are not getting a good signal, try moving your indoor camera to a better position. Perhaps try placing it higher and a short distance away from a wall if you can.

Re: Sky Protect devices constantly losing connection

1 water sensor is offline and other 2 were fine .  Even though the bridge and indoor camera was connected  ( both had solid blue lights to confirm connected) re-booted the camera , where all 3 x water detectors now offline.  Pushed reset button on each of the water sensors (red light blinked 3 x times) , they still dont connect and even stood right next to the bridge/camera when I tried to reset all 3 x water sensors .

Sky toriuble shoot video only references , rebooting the bridge/internal camera which I have done and ironically all 3 x water sensors are all offline where originally it was onloy 1 x water sensor ,- Help !!

I have found on a few occasions, the leak sensors have gone offline. Noticing that the Indoor camera is blue. I pulled out the sensor bridge on  the indoor camera and reseated it.
Then went round all the sensors and put my hand underneath the leak sensor on ther magnet detectors and they woke up and sent an alert.

Re: Sky Protect devices constantly losing connection

After months of having these issues I've given up. I can't be bothered resetting them every night. Tried again tonight and not one device connected. No issues with doorbell, indoor camera or my motion sensor. Is there a way of contacting Sky Prorect regarding their equipment because I can't seem to find anything.

Re: Sky Protect devices constantly losing connection

Dispite every thing they have advised me to do I am still getting the same thing .

I have just setup a home mesh system that has set me back £399 for my home as the router was not capable of reaching my back garden which is only 40 feet away i have everything now at full wifi signal and the sky protect things are still going off line i just thing they are really cheap items and am going to swap everything over to tplink have them in the garage and in 2 years never lost connection sorry sky but i think the sky protect gear is cheap and nasty.

Re: Sky Protect devices constantly losing connection

I am having the same issue and the facts page is useless neither the door sensors or 1 of the leak sensors will stay connected it's not the best made gear and I can't seem to fix the problem I give up wish I'd never got it to be honest it seems pointless if it won't stay connected when it's supposed to

Re: Sky Protect devices constantly losing connection

The motion, contact and leak sensors all connect very intermittently to conserve battery power. They only connect if an event occurs or every few hours. I find that if there is some sort of network outage (at my ISP or whatever) then they will be marked as offline in the app for several hours. They always reconnect eventually.

If you've restarted the sensor hub (following the instructions above) then make sure to leave it for several hours before confirming that they are back online.
