Hi. I have Sky Protect device insurance for my Sky Glass Gen 1 but what happens if I needed my TV replaced in future if there is no more Gen 1 tv's available due to Sky concentrating on Gen 2 tv's , I hope someone knows what will happen.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWhat does your Sky Protect insurance policy say on the subject? That would be the place to check.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@ScottishClaymore I had a situation similar to your scenario about 20 years ago. I had a LG TV which developed a fault whilst still within its 5 year warranty but as the panel was no longer available LG said they would replace the whole TV. They offered me a choice of 2 similar priced TV models and asked me to choose which one I would like. That was great customer service 😀

I'd imagine it's quite possible that a portion of the remaining unsold stock of Glass v1 is set aside for replacements under Sky Protect.
