Questioning Legitimacy

I recently went through the Sky Protect Device process to book in a repair. I called a number ending in 561 4457 to book it in. This is going to sound strange, but none of this is a scam, right? It's a weird question, but I wanna make sure I'm not going to end up sending my device to the aether when I drop it off.

That's not the number for D&G given here:

Were you advised by D&G to call the number you posted?

Re: Questioning Legitimacy

I was not. However, I'm starting to believe it was a case of being redirected. The number I relayed was how it appeared in my call history, being automatically registered under 'Sky Protect' and when I called the number on the website I was sent through the same process I went through previously, so perhaps I called the number on the website and was redirected? The number is also mentioned by the Sky Help Twitter account at one point, if that means anything.

In that case you're probably booking it in with one of D&Gs 'approved engineers', but I'd hope the call centre would make that clear.
