No permission payments ??😡

I have only just discovered I'm paying for sky protect since August and I've never asked for it can I do anything I have sky TV only ....and now this sky protect over £17 a month can I get some answers please or can stop payments but they said you have to pay £3 for every month left and it's apparently a 24 month contract and it started in August this year I had no idea I'm not very happy to say the least thanks for any info or answers 👍
