I'm not aware Protect has ever been 'free'

Given plasma televisions ceased manufacture around a decade ago, it would be frankly amazing if cover was still valid.

Hi , I have been with sky over 18 years. So maybe it was a service that has been stopped , my Samsung was covered free of charge ..it was not actually called Sky protect , I am aware that Sky protect is a paid for service ...My tv was registered with Sky and was repaired once under this agreement. I did not pay ...

I'm not aware of any such arrangement, I'm afraid, and I doubt repair of plasma sets is viable.
