Husband can’t log in to sky protect

We've just got sky protect. I've logged in as I'm the account holder. I've requested for my husband to join but he doesn't have a sky ID. When I have tried to create on it says he needs an account number etc which he doesn't have as the account is in my name. Is there any other way of going around this?
