How will we know when our area is covered?

I asked for a reminder when my home insurance was renewed so i could get a quote for the new sky protect. You reminded me as it is due on 13th October 2023 but after completing the questions it said "Sorry we cant cover you right now!" I have almost everything with sky and was hoping to continue on. So my question is when will i be able to be covered? and how will i know?

I would have assumed that if you sent me a reminder then you would have pre-checked my area. Please let me know as i will renew soon and then cant use sky for another year at least that means.

That won't happen as the result of a forum post.  You could try calling, but typically insurance companies don't have to give a reason for not offering cover at a particular address.
