How to save battery on my Video Doorbell?

If your battery is draining faster than expected, you can change the length of time your Video Doorbell records for. 

Here's how: You can do this by going to the Sky Protect App, Video Doorbell settings and tapping on your chosen clip length. You can choose between 15s (longest battery life), 30s and 60s (shortest battery life). 

Motion Detection & Activity Zone

If your battery is draining faster than expected, this may be due to unnecessary motion being detected. 

• If your Video Doorbell is facing a busy street, you can try and use the wedges provided adjust the angle away so your doorbell is not picking up unnecessary motion. 
• You can also alter your activity zone settings, so your Video Doorbell only records and gives you notifications about the precise area you'd like to focus on. To do this, go into your Video Doorbell live feed. Tap the settings icon and under 'configuration', select 'activity zones', toggle it on.
